Slack uptime alerts for your team
Send website and API downtime notifications to Slack. Connect once, define escalation policies, and respond before users notice.
Why send uptime alerts to Slack?
Email alerts get buried. SMS is expensive and noisy. Slack is where engineering and operations teams already coordinate—so downtime notifications belong there.
When a monitor fails, a Slack message gives your team immediate context: which URL failed, when it failed, and a link to investigate further.
How Pingscalate Slack alerts work
Connect your Slack workspace once in Pingscalate settings. Each monitor uses your escalation policy to decide when and where alerts post.
On failure, Pingscalate sends a structured alert to your chosen Slack channel. When the site recovers, your status view updates so you can confirm the incident is resolved.
Escalation policies you control
Not every failure needs to wake the whole team. Escalation policies let you define notification rules per monitor or group—so staging glitches do not page production on-call.
Combine policies with realistic HTTP checks (custom headers, POST bodies, browser-like user agents) to reduce false positives from strict WAF rules.
